UME is a FREE online service that allows you to securely submit your UIF declarations and pay your monthly contributions. It harnesses the power of the Internet allowing Domestics, Commercial Employers and Practitioners to complete and submit monthly UIF declarations and to securely pay UIF contributions.
Although I worked in a team of two, i thought I'd specify what I brought to the table. During the discovery phase, I advocated for and gethering of market research.
I also played a large role in keeping the team on track via project timeline. Once in the research phase, i played a large part in the interview process and translating of users feedback to design considerations. Through structured brainstorming sessions, I lead the creation of our usability testing.
I also thought I'd mention that I created a fully responsive rapid prototype using Primefaces, HTML5 and CSS3, just to show how the app the live app will look and feel when its live. I also created HTML components.
Through a series of primary research, including competitive analyses, field visits and interviews, we decided to focus on creating design solutions for uFiling Made Easy Web app.

Because of all the juicy feedback we received from users, we decided to focus on UME Website experience. To have a clear visualization of what kind of person would be likely to access the UME site, I created the following personas; however, it was important to make sure these personas were not limitations, but rather guides for our design solutions.(I'll add my personas pictures later)
Sometimes you caome up an idea and it seems like the most genuis idea in the world, however a question you should ask is "does the idea help your user and support your reseach?"
Sometimes research does not show what we want, but this doesn't mean we shoud ignore it.
